In collaboration with Arts House (Melbourne), 4A presents an immersive exhibition by Hazara artist Elyas Alavi, curated by Vishal Kumaraswamy. This powerful show will take you on a journey through the intricate narratives of identity, displacement, and cultural memory.

Exhibition: Haus Door

Artist: Yuriyal Bridgeman

Passage presents a large scale installation titled “Haus Door” by Brisbane based PNG artist Yuriyal Bridgeman. This kaleidoscopic exhibition invites viewers into the mythical stories of Papua New Guinea, showcasing the rich tapestry of legends that define the country’s cultural heritage.

Exhibition: In Between Merit and Hope

Artist: Clare Wigney

schmick contemporary is celebrating the opening night of ‘In Between Merit and Hope’ by Clare Wigney which showcases a singular work, a hand-crafted sign with interchangeable letters, in mimicry of those seen outside churches and schools or on sports fields.
